Buzz Draw Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 21, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use Buzz Draw (the "Application" or "App"), developed by Andromedays.
Buzz Draw is a real-time collaborative drawing application that allows users to create and share drawings with friends via room codes. The app also supports widget-based quick drawing, push notifications for new drawings, vibration alerts, and a foreground service that keeps the app ready to receive drawings even when closed.
By using Buzz Draw, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. We are committed to transparency and protecting your privacy.
- All drawing data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database and is accessible only to participants in the same room.
- We use Firebase Authentication (anonymous) to identify users without requiring personal information.
- The app uses Google AdMob for advertisements and Google Play Billing for in-app purchases (subscriptions).
- A foreground service runs to detect incoming drawings and vibrations even when the app is in the background or closed.
- The widget feature does not collect any personal data; it only allows quick drawing and sending from the home screen.
Note: The foreground service is necessary for the core functionality of receiving real-time drawings and vibration alerts. You can disable it via system settings, but this will prevent the app from working properly in the background.

- You – the individual accessing or using the Service.
3. Information We Collect and How We Use It
3.1. Data You Provide Directly
- Room Codes: You create or join rooms using alphanumeric codes. These codes are stored in Firebase to enable real-time drawing sharing.
- Drawings: The strokes you make are transmitted to Firebase and shared with other participants in the same room. Drawings are not stored permanently unless they are actively in a room.
- Vibration Signals: You may send custom vibration patterns to other room participants. These signals are transmitted via Firebase and are not stored permanently.
3.2. Automatically Collected Data
- Device Information: We collect basic device data (model, OS version, unique identifiers) via Firebase Analytics for crash reporting and performance improvement.
- Usage Data: Interactions with the app (e.g., opening rooms, sending drawings, watching ads) are collected in an anonymized form to help us improve features.
3.3. Permissions and Their Purpose
- INTERNET: Required for all network operations (Firebase sync, ad loading, billing).
- VIBRATE: Enables vibration alerts when a new drawing or vibration signal is received.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Allows the app to display notification alerts for new drawings.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Keeps the app running in the background to detect incoming drawings and vibrations, even when the app is closed.
- WAKE_LOCK: (Optional) Used to wake the device briefly when a drawing is received.
Important: All permissions are optional, but disabling them may limit the app's functionality (e.g., without notifications, you won't know when a new drawing arrives).
4. Firebase and Data Storage
We use Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Authentication provided by Google.
- Authentication: Users are authenticated anonymously. No email, password, or personal information is required.
- Realtime Database: Room data, drawings, and vibration signals are stored temporarily. Data is deleted automatically when rooms expire (inactive rooms are cleaned up).
- Analytics: Firebase Analytics collects anonymized usage data (events, crashes) to help us improve the app.
- Firebase services are subject to Google's privacy policy (Google Privacy Policy).
We do not store drawings or room data on our own servers. All data is managed through Firebase and is accessible only to room participants.
5. Advertising (AdMob) and Rewarded Ads
Buzz Draw uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads according to its policies.
- Standard Ads: Displayed in the app to support free usage.
- Rewarded Ads: Users may choose to watch rewarded ads to earn points, which can be used to unlock certain premium features or remove ads temporarily.
- Data collected by AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (Google Privacy Policy) and AdMob's own policies.
Note: You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad ID settings.
6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Buzz Draw offers premium features through subscriptions managed by Google Play Billing.
- All financial transactions are handled exclusively by Google Play. We do not process or store any payment information.
- We receive only subscription status (active/inactive) from Google Play to unlock premium features.
- Users can manage or cancel subscriptions directly from their Google Play account.
- Points earned from rewarded ads are non-transferable and may be revoked in case of abuse.
Refunds and billing disputes are subject to Google Play's refund policies.
7. Foreground Service and Background Operation
Buzz Draw uses a foreground service to ensure that incoming drawings and vibration signals are detected even when the app is not actively open.
- When the foreground service is active, a persistent notification is shown (as required by Android) to inform you that the app is running.
- The service does not access or transmit any personal data – it only monitors Firebase for new room events.
- You can stop the service by exiting the app or disabling the foreground service permission, but this will prevent the app from receiving real-time updates in the background.
Note: The foreground service is essential for the core functionality of Buzz Draw – receiving drawings and vibrations without opening the app. We do not use the service for any other purpose.
8. Third-Party Services
Buzz Draw integrates the following third-party services, which may collect and process data under their own policies:
- Google / Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Analytics, Crashlytics)
- Google AdMob (Advertising)
- Google Play Billing (In-app purchases)
We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how they handle your data.
9. Data Security and Retention
- Security: All network communication is encrypted via Firebase's secure protocols. We do not store personal data on our own servers.
- Retention: Room data and drawings are stored in Firebase Realtime Database only as long as the room is active. Inactive rooms (no activity for 30 days) are automatically deleted.
- User Control: You can delete your own data by simply closing or leaving the room. There is no separate deletion request needed for the data we hold.
If you have concerns about data retention, you can contact us at the email address below.
10. User Rights and Choices
- Permissions: You can revoke any permission (notifications, vibration, foreground service) via your device settings at any time.
- Opt-Out of Ads: Use your device's ad ID settings to limit ad personalization.
- Delete Data: Uninstalling the app will remove all local data. Firebase data (rooms) is automatically cleaned up after inactivity.
- Contact Us: If you have any privacy requests (access, deletion, questions), please email us at the address below.
We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
11. Children's Privacy
Buzz Draw does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us, and we will take steps to remove it.
Third-party services (Firebase, AdMob) may have their own age restrictions. We encourage parents to review those policies.

If you do not agree with the updated policy, you may stop using the App and delete your data by uninstalling the App or contacting us at the email address below.
